Vignoble Domaine Fossati

Back list

The Fossati estate perpetuates the tradition of the family vineyards of Gassin: Michel succeeded his mother Annie, who long directed this estate located in one of the most viticultural valleys of the Gassin peninsula with its extraordinary exposure.

This vineyard is located along the road from Gassin to Ramatuelle on an outcrop of granites. It is used in reasoned agriculture and enjoys an exceptional location, combining the Mediterranean climate tempered by the proximity of the sea, leading to a slow and gradual ripening of the berries.
The harvest is carried out early in the morning to benefit from the freshness of this maritime contribution and the grapes are pressed in bunches as soon as they arrive in the cellar.

The Fossati estate covers 9 hectares. It was created by the Fossati family in the 1930s.

The wines of the Fossati estate are distributed by the cooperative of the Presqu'île de Saint-Tropez: Les Maîtres Vignerons de la Presqu'île à Gassin.

His Rosé des Aventuriers combines grenache, rolle and syrah for citrus notes with a lively and fruity mouth. It comes from the drop juices produced as soon as the harvest arrives. The process is then cold settling while the fermentations take place in tanks.
The rest of the production is carried out by the Master Vintners thanks to its latest generation technical equipment.
