Commemoration of August 15th, 1944.

Friday 15 August at 10 am.

15 August is the date of the Provence Landings (1944).
On this date, it is important to remember and commemorate all those who fought for freedom.

Meet up in Port Grimaud at the Liberation roundabout and then at the Monument aux morts in the village to take part in the ceremonies.

- 10.00 Ceremony at Port Grimaud, D-Day Stele.
- 11.15 Laying of wreaths at the Rond-Point de la Libération.
- 11.45 Gathering in front of the Town Hall.
- 12.00 Ceremony at the war memorial.
