Thaïs is an opera in three acts by Jules Massenet, premiered on March 16, 1894 at the Paris Opéra.

Inspired by Anatole France's novel of the same name, it depicts the spiritual conversion of Thaïs, an Alexandrian courtesan, under the influence of the monk Athanaël.
