The Light of St John

Take part in the traditional Saint John's Day procession!

Monday 23 June 2025 at 5 pm.

The procession will start from the square in front of the Town Hall at 5pm, carrying the flame.

The first stop will be the church of Saint Michel, where mass will be celebrated at 5.30pm.

After mass, the procession will continue through the village to reach the grounds of the Queste chapel at 7.30pm.

At this ceremony, the faggots will be blessed and the Midsummer bonfire will be lit. This Provençal evening will end with a sardinade, a traditional Mediterranean dish, offered to all Grimaudois by the Town Hall.

Participation in the meal is reserved for residents of Grimaud, and registration with proof of identity is required via the link below.
