From November 22 to 24, 2024, the Ville de Saint-Tropez is organizing the third and final part of its Rencontres Scientifiques series on the theme of Origins.

After the Origins of the Universe in 2022, and the Origins of Life in 2023, the 3rd edition of the Rencontres will focus on the Origins of Humanity. Experts and scientists will be on hand to present documentaries, lectures and round-table discussions.

Friday November 22: Théâtre-cinéma La Renaissance
- 6pm: Inauguration.

- 6:30pm: Screening of the educational documentary "L'HOMME DE PÉKIN, LES DERNIERS SECRETS DE L'HUMANITÉ" by Jacques Malaterre (Arte, 2024), in the presence of director Jacques Malaterre.

- 8:30pm: Opening lecture:
"Who are we?"
