A friendly holiday village, open to all, all year round. Situated on a hill 3 km from the village of Cuers in the Var, with indoor swimming pool and paddling pool. Particularly suitable for people with reduced mobility, 4 Labels TH. Bicycle welcome label.
Lou Bastidou is ideally located between the sea and the countryside, 20 km from Toulon and Hyères, at the foot of the Maures hills.
We welcome individuals, families and groups in 6 fully-equipped gîtes for 5 people, a Residence with kitchen/lounge around a patio for up to 19 people and a studio in the Micocoulier Pavilion.
The holiday village is designed like a village, with a bowling green and fountain in the central square. It's an open space on the hill, with no fences.
Lou Bastidou is accessible to people with disabilities in the 6 gîtes (2 bedrooms, 1 medical bed per gîte, Italian-style bathroom, fully-equipped kitchen, private terrace), the Residence (5 accessible bedrooms with medical beds, Italian-style bathroom, fully equipped kitchen and living room, terrace), the Reception (adapted counters, games room, bar, terrace) as well as the heated indoor swimming pool (transfer rail, foot bath accessible by manual or electric wheelchair) and the paddling pool (loan of seahorse, access ramp).
The activities on offer in summer are suitable for all ages.
We are Tourism and Disability approved for the 4 labels: motor, visual, mental and hearing.
The holiday village is non-medical, we offer adapted facilities for people with disabilities as well as a network of medical and para-medical professionals.
The heated indoor swimming pool is open from the beginning of May to the end of September, and the outdoor paddling pool from June to September.
Cleaning is extra at the end of your stay
Le Bastidou benefits from exceptional natural surroundings, and has been awarded the Refuge LPO label. You can admire the many birds that live on the hill and take part in the nature activities on offer in summer.
In high season (July/August) there are activities for young and old. Direct sales from producers, exhibitions by local artists and craftspeople, communal meals, plastic arts, etc.
The immediate surroundings of Le Bastidou are ideal for hill walks. Cuers, just 3 km away, is a typical old village with its chapel, restaurants, shops and supermarkets, and a farmers' market every Friday morning.
