After 3 exceptional editions, the Sacrée Musique festival returns to the Var with its 4th edition from November 29 to December 22, 2024!
On the program: 18 illuminated concerts of all styles of sacred music: children's choirs, choral singing, classical music, Eastern and Orthodox choirs, Corsican and Basque polyphonies, songs from around the world... Something for everyone!
Each evening will be entirely illuminated by candlelight for an exceptional immersive experience. As in previous years, the Festival will be putting in place a number of actions in support of youth and solidarity.
Musical and heritage workshops will be organized in partnership with local associations, schools and music colleges.
The TPM agglomeration community, the towns of Toulon, Fréjus, Saint-Tropez, Ollioules, Saint-Raphaël, Brignoles, Hyères and the Festival Sacrée Musique are delighted to invite you to this 4ᵉ edition, which promises to be a colorful one!
The Festival stretches across the Var, with a total of 18 candlelit concerts in all styles of sacred music: children's choirs, choral singing, classical music, Slavonic and Orthodox choirs, Corsican and Basque polyphony, and world songs.... Something for everyone!
These immersive concerts will take place in some of the Var's most beautiful churches. The Festival, sponsored by Stéphane Bern, showcases this unique heritage, which belongs to us all, through magical illuminations. Dates span the entire Advent season, from November 29 to December 22, 2024. The Festival also supports a number of solidarity initiatives, such as *Cape ou pas cap* in Toulon.
It also organizes masterclasses between Festival artists and students from the Conservatoire TPM and the Conservatoire du Golfe de Saint-Tropez.
The town of Saint-Tropez and the Festival Sacrée Musique are delighted to invite you to two concerts on December 7 and 8 in the Church of Notre-Dame de l'Assomption.
The spotlight will be on polyphony, with two remarkable ensembles: the **Chœur Bayonne Pays Basque**, 16 impressive voices expressing the strong and beautiful identity of the Basque country, and **Balkanes**, four female voices with fascinating timbres, accompanied by a percussionist, a clarinettist and three dancers to immerse you in a spectacular musical universe from elsewhere. The four singers will also be accompanied by the Conservatoire du Golfe de Saint-Tropez.
Come one, come all to (re)discover this immersive experience in the candlelit church. Awaken your senses!
