Cultural ( Theatre )Wednesday 04 November 2026 from 18h to 19h15
A dramatic reading of Éléa Marini’s novel *Le Ciel l’a mauvaise*, exploring emotions, resilience, and hope in the face of the world’s upheavals.
As part of its participation in the Var Readers’ Choice Award, the Jehanne Arnaud Media Library is hosting a dramatized reading of Éléa Marini’s novel *Le Ciel l’a mauvaise*, presented by the Var-based theater company “La Dérouleuse,” under the auspices of the “Lire en territoire” initiative led by the Department and the Departmental Lending Media Library.
When the colors of the world begin to fade, humanity is revealed...
Under a sky heavy with threats, the heat crushes the landscape, winds pick up, and waters rise. Bo, Alma, and Isaac—three people who seem to have nothing in common—find their paths crossing in the midst of the catastrophe. Together, they face the collapse of a world, giving rise to solidarity, hope, and the strength of human bonds.
Through a sensitive and embodied performance, actors Élisa Queneutte and Maxime Guinand bring to life a powerful novel in which the colors of the sky, the earth, and emotions blend with the nuances of our vulnerabilities. The company transforms the performance into a space for connection where words take on a life of their own, oscillating between emotion, humor, and tenderness.
An invitation to experience the full spectrum of feelings, from shadow to light.
