‘Tribute to Andrès Ségovia’ - Recital by Carlotta Doalia, first prizewinner at the Uppsala, Hong Kong, Miami, Madrid and Parma Niccolò Paganini international competitions.

Born in Tuscany in 1999, guitarist Carlotta Dalia attracts attention for her passionate, profound interpretations, underpinned by a round, powerful sound. Since her first solo concert at the age of twelve, she has won over 40 national and international competitions, including first prizes in Uppsala, Hong Kong, Miami and Madrid, as well as the Niccolò Paganini International Competition in Parma.

She is now a regular guest on concert stages all over the world - tours have taken her to Italy, Spain, Germany, Austria, Portugal, Poland, Hungary, Sweden, Russia, Ireland, Japan, Latvia, the Netherlands, various South American countries, China and Switzerland.

Carlotta Dalia began playing the guitar at the age of eight and graduated with distinction in 2017 from the renowned Accademia Chigiana in Siena, where she studied with Oscar Ghiglia. She completed her postgraduate studies at the Salzburg Mozarteum in 2022 and has been a D'Addario artist since 2016. She is supported by Classically Connected, Inc. in New York and by the Adopt a Musician Foundation in Lugano, which has also kindly lent her the 1939 Hermann Hauser guitar played by Andrès Segovia. Carlotta Dalia teaches at the Conservatory of Mantua.
