Edgar, David and Jérémie Moreau regularly perform as a piano trio in France and abroad. They have been invited to perform at festivals such as La Roque d'Anthéron, the Colmar International Festival, the Chopin Nohant Festival, the Périgord Noir Festival, Les Musicales de Normandie, the Perros-Guirec Festival, Estivales du Médoc, Flâneries Musicales de Reims and La Vague Classique de Six-Fours-les-Plages.
Winner of the Rostropovitch 2009, Tchaikovsky 2011 and Young Concert Artist 2014 competitions, Edgar Moreau, born in 1994, began playing the cello at the age of 4. At the same time as learning the piano, he studied with Philippe Muller at the Paris Conservatoire and perfected his skills with Frans Helmerson at Kronberg. He made his debut in the Dvorak concerto with the Orchestra of the Teatro Regio in Turin at the age of 11.
Edgar performs in the most prestigious concert halls in the world. He was awarded 2 Victoires de la Musique Classique in 2013 and 2015 and won an ECHO Classik in 2016. He was also awarded an ECHO Rising Stars in 2017. He has received support from the Fondation Banque Populaire and the Fondation d'entreprise Safran, and was Adami's Classical Instrumental Revelation in 2012, as well as the Prix Jeune Soliste des Radios Francophones Publiques in 2013. Edgar Moreau plays a 1711 cello by David Tecchler and a bow by Dominique Peccatte.
Jérémie Moreau, born in 1999, began playing the piano at the age of 7 with Françoise Ragon. A graduate of the Paris Conservatoire, Jérémie was nominated in 2021 in the Revelations category of the Victoires de la Musique Classique. For his first release with Erato, he joins forces with his sister Raphaëlle Moreau, and his brothers Edgar and David Moreau, for a programme based on Dvorak and Korngold (‘A Family Affair’ (2020).
Born in Paris in 1998, David Moreau began playing the violin at the age of 5. Winner of the Fondation Berthier 2017, and Banque Populaire 2022. He has studied with Pavel Vernikov, Andras Schiff, Itamar Golan, Patrice Fontanarosa, Franz Helmerson and Ivry Gitlis. A passionate chamber musician, he performs at numerous festivals. David is artist-in-residence at the Fondation Singer-Polignac.
