Fabrique des hôtels à chauve-souris  to La Croix-Valmer (Var, France)

What if you became a little architect working for nature? 🛠️🦇

Bats are true allies of our ecosystems… but sometimes they need a little help finding places to hide and rest. So, are you ready to build them a little shelter?

During this activity, children will discover the fascinating world of bats and their role in nature. Then it’s time to get building! 🔨🌿

Working in teams, the little builders will help create bat houses, specially designed to provide them with a suitable shelter.

On the programme:

🦇 Discover bats and their habits;
🌙 Understand their role and why they are important for biodiversity;
🔨 Build and assemble their little shelter;
🎨 Personalise their bat house and add their own creative touch;
🌳 Take practical action for nature, as the shelters will later be installed in strategic locations around the town.

And the adventure doesn’t end when the workshop is over! The bat houses built by the children will be installed at different locations around La Croix-Valmer, providing new shelters for bats. 🏡🦇

A fun, creative and meaningful activity to learn more about these fascinating and often misunderstood animals, while discovering how everyone can play a part in protecting biodiversity.

So, are you ready to build a little shelter for the queens of the night? 🌙🦇✨
