Telling a classic tale in three lines is a crazy challenge that the twenty illustrated haikus, like so many marvelous and enigmatic little worlds, attempt to meet.
Through the brief and evocative words of haikus, journeys come to life... and stories too...
Certainly, haikus, small poetic marvels born from Japanese tradition, manage to capture the essence of journeys, foreign landscapes, and nature in all its forms. But when this poetic form meets the world of storytelling, it gives rise to an exhibition: "Once Upon a Time... Tales in Haiku."
An exhibition that will transport you in a playful way through the creative world of Agnès Domergue (author of the haikus) and Cécile Hudrisier (illustrator). A true journey to the land of tales….
