Sports Festival  to Cogolin (Var, France)

To mark the start of the school year, Cogolin’s sports clubs are coming together to introduce as many people as possible to their sports.

Children and families are invited to try out new activities, participate, and watch the demonstrations offered throughout the afternoon.

The schedule:

1:00 p.m.: Doors open and speeches by elected officials at the COSEC
1:30 p.m. – 6:00 p.m.: Introductions, tryouts, and presentations by sports clubs
2:00 p.m. – 5:15 p.m.: Demonstrations by sports clubs on Town Hall Square
Clubs and sports to explore

At COSEC: badminton, volleyball, handball, fencing, gymnastics, judo, karate, and dance.

At Gymnasium B: rhythmic gymnastics, kempo, archery, krav maga, taekwondo, yoga, dance, weightlifting, and music.

At the stadiums: rugby, soccer, tennis, model building, boating, motocross, and pétanque.

At the Cauquière Hall: table tennis.

The Kids’ Sports Challenge

Younger kids can take part in a sports challenge: for every activity they complete, their sports passport will be stamped. It’s a great way to tackle the challenges and walk away with some goodies!

And to get around, the little train will take you to all the day’s key locations!
