Voiles Latines  to Saint-Tropez (Var, France)

The municipality of Saint-Tropez honors the Mediterranean maritime heritage with the Voiles latines à Saint-Tropez event, in the same format as in 2025.

For the 2026 edition, the Commune de Saint-Tropez and the Société Tropézienne des Voiliers de Tradition invite Latin sailboat associations and traditional sailing enthusiasts to come and sail in the Gulf of Saint-Tropez from Friday June 05, 2026 to Sunday June 07, 2026.

Twenty berths will be reserved at the môle Jean Réveille and quai Frédéric Mistral.

Workshops for marine carpenters and creel weavers will also be taking part in the event, to showcase their ancestral skills.

This year, the joutes raphaëloises will be back on June 6, starting at 6:30 p.m. at La Ponche.

Program :

FRIDAY June 05

-1 p.m.: welcome of boats and crews at Jean Réveille mole, rigging.
-1:30 p.m.: as part of World Environment Day, visit to workshops on protecting maritime spaces and biodiversity.
-7 to 9 p.m.: Welcome drink offered by STVT and shared meal (reserved for participants) môle Jean Réveille.

SATURDAY June 06

- 8 a.m.: breakfast (participants only) môle Jean Réveille.
- 9 a.m. to 10:30 a.m.: free tour of Saint-Tropez, Saturday market day.
- 10:30 am: briefing.
- 11 a.m.: departure of the flotilla for lunch at anchor in the Baie des Canoubiers around the Tartane Sant-Troupes (bring your own picnic).
- 1:30 pm: Tartane Sant-Troupes weighs anchor and heads for the sailing course.
- 2:00 pm: departure.
- 4 p.m.: return to the port of Saint-Tropez.
- 5 p.m. to 6 p.m.: entertainment ashore for crews and the general public.
6:30 p.m.: Raphaël jousting tournament at La Ponche
- 7:30 p.m./8:00 p.m.: aperitif and paella for crews on the quay of the Jean Réveille mole, hosted by STVT (with music by Michel Martinez).

SUNDAY June 07

- 8 a.m. to 9 a.m.: môle Jean Réveille, breakfast (reserved for participants).
- 10 a.m.: briefing and departure for the navigation course in the Gulf.
- 1 p.m.: return of the flotilla, parade in the Vieux Port, aperitif and meal offered by STVT.
- 1:30 p.m.: Sardinade at the Jean Réveille mole.
- 2:30 p.m./3:30 p.m.: prize-giving ceremony at Jean Réveille mole.
- 3:30 p.m.: End of the 2026 edition, craning and departure of boats to their respective harbors.

Free weekend entertainment for the public:

TONTON ROGER" seamanship and rope-making workshop:
This association is dedicated to preserving our marine heritage, with an exhibition on the history of the rope-making industry.

TONTON ROGER" creel workshop: demonstration of traditional basketry creel techniques and tools.

Presence of a marine carpenter.

Association les JOUTES RAPHAËLOISES: demonstrations of jousting tournaments.
