Christmas drawing competition in Gassin

Contest rules 2021

Rules for the drawing competition organized by the Gassin tourist office:

Article I: Purpose of the competition

The Gassin Tourist Office is organizing a free drawing competition open to children aged 3 to 10, with 3 categories:

– Children aged 3 to 5
– Children aged 6 to 8
– Children aged 9 to 10

A prize will be awarded for each category.

Article II: Competition theme

Entries must be based on the theme of “Waiting for Christmas”.

Article III: How to enter
This is an individual competition. Each participant may submit only one drawing.
Drawings must be produced on white A4 paper (21×29.7).
All manual techniques are accepted for the creation of drawings: felt-tip pen, pencil, pastels, paint, collage, watercolor, etc…
Each drawing must be legibly written on the reverse side:
– Child’s surname, first name and date of birth
– A telephone number
– An e-mail address (if possible)
Please send your drawing to the following address, either by post or by dropping it off directly at the tourist office in the village of Gassin from November 16, 2021:

Article IV: Liability

The organizers decline all responsibility for any loss or damage to the drawings.

Article V: Selection and competition results

A jury made up of members of the tourist office and a drawing professional will select the best drawings in each of the three categories.

The criteria for selection will be compliance with the format of the sheet, the constraints imposed, the care given to the drawing and originality.

The drawings must relate to the theme: “Draw me a tree”.
The winners’ drawings will be displayed online at gassin.eu and at Christmas in Gassin on December 11.

The presence of the participants or a person representing the winner is required, given the prizes awarded.

Article VI: Prices

The two best drawings in each category will be awarded following the jury’s deliberations on December 11.

Article VII: Copyright and image rights

Under no circumstances will copyright or distribution rights be paid for the drawings produced. Each candidate waives his or her economic rights to his or her drawing, and the tourist office may use the drawings in any circumstances and on any media it sees fit.

Article VIII: Miscellaneous

Participation in this contest implies full acceptance of these rules.

The Gassin Tourist Office, organizer of this contest, cannot be held responsible if, for reasons beyond its control, the contest is postponed or cancelled.

In accordance with the French Data Protection Act of January 6, 1978, art L.27, participants have the right to access, modify, rectify and delete data concerning them.
