The Parcours Cyclable du Littoral Six-Fours/St-Raphaël (V65 of the Véloroutes et Voies Vertes national plan) allows you to cover part of the Var coastline by the coast or inland, following the route of the old Var railroad line.

Crossing Toulon is essentially urban and should be done with caution.
It does, however, offer a number of attractive itineraries, notably the one leading to the Tour Royale and its sublime panorama of the entire Toulon harbor.

To reach this spot, you'll need to follow the following itinerary:

- from the Palais des Sports parking lot, follow the cycle path towards the town center.
- Once you've reached the Avenue de la République (parallel to the port), continue on to the Stade Mayol traffic circle.
- On your right (2nd exit) is Avenue de l'Infanterie Marine, which has a cycle lane. Watch out for traffic and use it.
- Follow this avenue to the next traffic circle, then take the first exit towards the Tour Royale (continuous cycle lane).
- You've arrived!

Enjoy the view, the fort and its public areas, the small park and a hiking trail around the "Pointe de Pipady" to La Mitre beach.
