After his studies at Beaux-Art, Klaus Meister became assistant decorator at the national theater of Cassel before practicing his art in Japan, he became a painter on the Côte d'Azur and established his workshop in Gassin where he extended his art to d 'other subjects.
Born in 1953 in Cassel, in the Länd of Hesse in Germany, Klaus Meister created in 1972 a series of drawings and collages which he called "Man - Image - Symbol". After studying graphic design, and a stint at the national theater in Cassel, he discovered the south of France, particularly the Saint-Tropez peninsula. It travels between the port of Saint-Tropez, Paris or Berlin.
He liked the region so much that he moved to Gassin in 1989.
From 1989 to 1993, he benefited from an exclusive contract in Japan which allowed him to export his art in a good mood.
For more than 30 years, he has continued his work with various series. The painter has developed his art towards the 3rd dimension and since 2006 has produced important monumental sculptures (wood, fiberglass, steel, stainless steel, aluminum), as of smaller size.
